For care providers and healthcare organisations

Healthcare staffing

When a rota has gaps, the people you rely on most feel it first. Our staffing service supplies competent, properly checked professionals who arrive briefed, understand the setting and fit in with your team, so continuity of care is protected rather than interrupted.

The service

What it involves

We take the time to understand your service, the people you support and the skills each shift genuinely needs before we suggest anyone.

Bookings can cover a single shift, a regular pattern, or a block of cover while you recruit permanently. Wherever possible we send the same people back so residents and patients see familiar faces.

Every professional we put forward has completed our pre-placement checks, and we share the information you need to confirm their suitability before they start.

How it works

Four clear steps

  1. Tell us what you need

Share the role, setting, dates and any specific competencies by phone or through our staffing request form.

  2. We match carefully

We shortlist professionals whose experience suits your service, not simply whoever is free.

  3. Confirmation and profiles

You receive confirmation of the booking and the worker’s profile, including their checks and relevant training.

  4. Feedback after the shift

We ask for your feedback and act on it, so future bookings get better, not just faster.

Scope

What we can and cannot provide

Being clear about scope from the start helps everyone make good decisions.

What we provide

  • Registered nurses (adult and mental health), healthcare assistants, senior carers and support workers
  • Single shifts, regular patterns and block bookings
  • A named contact who understands your service
  • Clear worker profiles and compliance information on request

Good to know

  • We will only confirm a booking when we have someone suitably qualified and checked for that setting. If we cannot fill a request well, we will tell you promptly so you can make other arrangements.
  • Our staff work under the direction of your clinical and management teams and your policies; they do not replace your own governance arrangements.

Standards

The standards we work to

These are the checks and commitments behind this service. Ask us and we will talk you through any of them in detail.

  1. Enhanced DBS check appropriate to the role
  2. Right-to-work verification
  3. At least two references, including the most recent employer
  4. Professional registration checks (for example, the NMC register for nurses)
  5. Mandatory training, including safeguarding and moving and handling

Before you get in touch

Helpful to have ready

Don’t worry if you do not have all of this. We can work through it together.

  • The role and number of staff needed
  • Dates, shift times and location
  • The type of setting and the needs of the people being supported
  • Any specialist skills, such as PEG feeding, catheter care or experience with dementia
  • Who the worker should report to on arrival

Common questions

How much notice do you need?

The more notice you can give, the better we can match. We will always tell you honestly what we can cover for short-notice requests.

Can we request the same worker again?

Yes. Continuity matters to the people you support, so we will prioritise sending familiar staff wherever they are available.

What happens if there is a concern about a worker?

Contact us straight away. We take every concern seriously, investigate promptly and keep you informed. Safeguarding concerns are escalated in line with the relevant procedures.
